My back yard. I locked myself out of the house by accident. The turtle head started pokin' so I went about 10 feet past my patio. Thank god for those paper towels that we left outside the night before!

On a train from Luxor to Cairo, the "toilet" was two footpads and a hole in the bottom of the train. You can see the railroad ties whizzing by (no pun intended). That was QUITE the experience...

You can blame me all you want! I think it is interesting.

Melissa, that sounds disgusting. I think that blog post would be interesting. The idea seems to have sparked some memories (good and bad) here!

I *loved* my visit there. I hope to live there for a bit of time someday ...

------

I just thought of a time last summer in New York City. Bar was underground and full of extremely hot men, none of which were interested in me or my friend Susan, but all of whom were eyeing each other ... we went to the bathroom, which was unisex and lit by a blacklight. And all over the toilet was something red. Resembled paint. Didn't bother to find out - got the hell outta the bathroom and outta the bar. To this day that image haunts me. *shudders*

I'm starting to think I should write a blog about the worst bathrooms ever ...

Rome, eh, very cool. Did you enjoy your visit there?

I have to be 100% honest, Im not sure whether we should be proud that we have exposed our most intimate moments to each other like this or ashamed. Either way Kevin is to blame for it.

Melissa, I would say that #1 experiences count if you are female and you have to sit to pee. Unfortunately, you didn't have the amount of time that a #2 takes to really soak in the atmosphere of your "special place". So officially it will count, but next time if you really want it to be special, take your time, enjoy your surroundings and who knows, maybe a #2 will work its way out!

Crystal, that is too funny. I too have found myself doing my business in the woods (I didn't have a handy potty seat though, I was just holding onto a tree or something) and it begins to rain. The most important thing in such a situation is to protect the paper (or leaves) you are going to use afterwards from getting wet. There is nothing worse than trying to clean yourself with soaking paper! It just kind of smears...
